- 1 Roll of puff pastry
- 150 g Goat's cream cheese
- 4 Figs, cut into slices
- 1 EL Honey
- 1 sprig of fresh thyme
- 1 Egg (to coat)
- Pepper to taste
Preheat the oven: to 180°C top/bottom heat or 160°C fan-assisted.
Prepare the puff pastry: Roll out on baking paper and prick lightly.
Topping: Spread the goat's cheese evenly over the puff pastry, then place the fig slices on top.
To finish: Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with fresh thyme and pepper.
Bake: Brush the edges of the puff pastry with beaten egg and bake the tart for approx. 20 minutes until golden brown.
Serve: Enjoy warm, possibly with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc.
