Wine types – discover variety, experience taste
In the wine types category, you will find a selection of special types of wine that stand out from classic red and white wines due to their style, production and character. Each of these wine types has its own world of enjoyment – from sparkling aperitifs to summery, fresh rosés and sweet temptations for dessert.
Sparkling wines
Whether fine champagne, fresh prosecco or fine sparkling crémant – sparkling wines are perfect for festive moments and elegant accompaniments to seafood, fine appetizers or light starters.
Rosé wines
Rosé combines the freshness of a white wine with the fruity notes of red grapes. From delicate Provence style to stronger rosados – rosé goes wonderfully with Mediterranean cuisine, grilled food or simply well chilled as an uncomplicated pleasure in summer.
Dessert wines
Sweet, aromatic or liqueur-like – dessert wines such as Sauternes, port, Moscato or ice wine offer intense taste sensations. They are the ideal accompaniment to cheese, chocolate, fruit or as the crowning glory of a meal.
Orange Wines & Natural Wines
Orange Wines – mash-fermented white wines – bring structure, depth and character to the glass. They are produced using traditional methods with long contact with the skins and are characterized by spicy aromas, fine tannins and an orange to amber hue. Many Orange Wines are natural wines and are vinified with little or no intervention. They are an exciting accompaniment to mature cheese, fermented dishes, oriental cuisine and hearty vegetable dishes.
Whether sparkling, fresh, sweet or original – our wine types show the whole range of extraordinary moments of pleasure.
